1072 West Peachtree: Atlanta’s Next Landmark Tower Nears Its Peak
After more than two years of construction, Atlanta’s tallest new skyscraper in over three decades is nearly ready to crown the Midtown skyline. Developed by Rockefeller Group, the 60-story tower at 1072 West Peachtree Street is set to top out on November 7, 2025, marking a major milestone in Atlanta’s evolution as a vertical, mixed-use city.
Standing 749 feet tall, the tower will become the fifth-tallest building in Atlanta and the tallest residential and mixed-use structure built since 1992. Designed by TVS in collaboration with Brock Hudgins Architects, the sleek glass façade reflects a contemporary take on urban living and professional space.
The project includes more than 350 luxury apartments, many offering the highest residential views in the city, along with 224,000 square feet of Class A office space spanning floors 11–18. A 10th-floor amenity deck stretches across a full acre, providing green space, lounge areas, and event-ready lawns overlooking Midtown.
At ground level, new restaurant and retail concepts will activate the block with coffee shops, grab-and-go options, and full-service dining. This thoughtful street-level design aims to create a walkable, all-day destination.
Construction began in July 2023, led by Turner Construction, and the tower has already become visible from miles away—from Virginia-Highland to Centennial Olympic Park. Rockefeller Group expects initial occupancy and openings to align with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, when Atlanta will host international matches.
The rise of 1072 West Peachtree underscores Midtown’s continued transformation into a live-work-play district, combining high-end living, employment centers, and vibrant streetscape experiences into one vertical neighborhood.
